Pharoah Mudenha

Born on 27 August 2003 in Mutare, Zimbabwe, is a self-taught artist making waves in the art world. As the third-born in a family of five, he completed his secondary education at Muchena Secondary School, where his artistic journey began to unfold. Without any formal training, Pharoah's talent has been shaped by sheer passion, dedication, and inspiration drawn from the renowned Zimbabwean artist, Keith Zenda.
Specializing in oils and acrylics on canvas, Pharoah’s work captures the essence of African culture and the beauty of nature. His paintings bring to life the vibrancy of rural activities, reflecting the stories, traditions, and daily life of his community. Constantly experimenting with new ideas, he channels his creativity into unique pieces that celebrate his heritage.
Pharoah is now part of Swiss-Zim Heritage, where he receives mentorship and support to grow his talent further. His journey is a testament to the power of dedication and inspiration, proving that talent, combined with opportunity, can shine brightly. One of his remarkable works, "Long Day's Work," exemplifies his ability to portray the strength and resilience of rural African life.
Through his art, Pharoah aspires to share the rich cultural tapestry of Zimbabwe with the world, offering viewers a glimpse into the soul of rural Africa.
