Swiss-Zim Heritage Heads to the Hamptons Fine Art Fair 2025: An African Story Comes to Life
We are excited to share some thrilling news: Swiss-Zim Heritage will be part of the prestigious Hamptons Fine Art Fair, taking place from July 10 to 13, 2025, at the Southampton Fairgrounds in New York! This major event, known for its carefully curated showcase of 20th and 21st-century artworks, has become a must-attend for global collectors and art enthusiasts. This year, we bring the vibrant story of African art to this elite fair with our exhibition titled "An African Story in the Hamptons."
What to Expect from "An African Story"
Our exhibition will spotlight the incredible talent of Zimbabwean art legends Keith Zenda, Tonderai Mujuru, and Barry Lungu, three artists whose work exemplifies the depth and diversity of African creativity. To nurture future talent, we’re also thrilled to include three to four emerging artists, each presenting one or two pieces, allowing them to shine on an international stage.
Meet Our Featured Artists
Keith Zenda: Keith’s captivating works reflect the soul of Zimbabwean culture through vibrant depictions of everyday life, traditions, and community stories. His artistic journey began early, and his pieces embody the energy and spirit of his homeland.
Tonderai Mujuru: Known for his breathtaking wildlife scenes, Tonderai’s work highlights the beauty of Zimbabwe’s fauna and the deep connection between humans and nature. His art serves as a call for conservation and appreciation of Africa’s natural heritage.
Barry Lungu: With over 25 years of experience painting full-time from his studio in Harare, Barry’s artwork is rooted in the vibrancy of Zimbabwe’s urban and rural life. His pieces capture the buzz of township life and the serenity of the countryside.
Both Keith Zenda and Tonderai Mujuru will be present at the fair, providing attendees with a unique chance to interact with them, while Barry Lungu is expected to join and add his valuable perspective to the exhibition.I’m a paragraph. Drag me to add paragraph to your block,
